Friday Transfer Gossip From Around the World

With most of football leagues around the world have ended, i will be bringing you the latest transfer gossips and completed transfers from around the world as it happens.

     

TRANSFER GOSSIP

Manchester City are set to make another move to sign Barcelona full-back Dani Alves. According to reports in Spain they have offered £12m and Aleksandar Kolarov for the 29-year-old Brazilian.
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has reiterated his desire to stay at the club, playing down reports in the Italian press that he is to join AC Milan.
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has rubbished speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid this summer. The 23-year-old believes his current club are on the same level as the Spanish pair.
Manchester United are set to make an improved offer of £13m for midfielder Shinji Kagawa, 23, from Borussia Dortmund.
Porto's Brazilian forward Hulk, 25, is prepared to hand in a transfer request in order to force through a £35m move to Chelsea. The Blues have already reached an outline agreement on personal terms with the player.                                    


Tottenham are close to signing central defender Jan Vertonghen, 25, from Ajax for a fee of £9.6m.
However, Vertonghen has warned Spurs that if they do not hurry up and complete the transfer he will join their north London rivals Arsenal instead.
Arsenal are ready to open the bidding for Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud by offering £6.4m, plus forward Marouane Chamakh, for the 25-year-old.
Everton manager David Moyes is chasing FC Copenhagen's £6m-rated Senegalese striker Dame N'Doye - but the Toffees boss will have to sell to bid.
QPR are lining up Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas, 29, as a replacement for Joey Barton, who was banned for 12 matches by the FA on Wednesday.
Striker Peter Odemwingie wants to leave West Brom and move to a bigger club. "I hope I will leave West Brom keeping warm relations with everybody," said the 30-year-old. "I would consider any proposals — even from Russia. But my aim is to stay in England."
Stoke boss Tony Pulis has launched a bid to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan for next season. The 19-year-old made only 12 appearances last season for the Blues - scoring no goals - after joining from Anderlecht for £18m.
West Ham are poised to make a move for Sunderland midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady. The 24-year-old has failed to make any impact at the Stadium of Light since Martin O'Neill took charge last season.
Newcastle, Cardiff and Southampton are involved in a transfer tussle for Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez. The Clarets want £8m for the 22-year-old, who scored 21 goals last season.

OTHER GOSSIP

An injury to Manchester United's Danny Welbeck means Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is likely to lead the line for England in their Euro 2012 warm-up friendly against Norway on Saturday, giving the 23-year-old the chance to cement a place in the starting line-up for his country's first game in the tournament against France on 11 June.


Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has urged Roberto Martinez to think carefully about joining Liverpool to work under a football director. The Latics owner Dave Whelan told BBC Sport on Thursday that Martinez is meeting with Liverpool's owners in Miami.
Former England boss Fabio Capello is the latest manager to turn down Liverpool but he still hopes a move to Chelsea could materialise.
Steve Bruce is wanted by Hull City to replace Nick Barmby but the ex-Sunderland manager will not make any decision yet as he eyes a third return to Wigan, should Martinez leave.
Chelsea interim boss Roberto Di Matteo has emerged as a target for Napoli after talks with the Blues to become their permanent manager stalled.
Former Chelsea assistant coach Ray Wilkins is a contender to replace Roy Hodgson as West Brom boss if the Baggies cannot lure Chris Hughton away from Birmingham City.
Swansea winger Scott Sinclair is stalling over signing a new deal with the Welsh club. The 23-year-old, who scored eight goals last season, has 12 months left on his current deal.

Tanzania Gossip
AFCleopards have denied to rumours that there is no deal done between them and Simba SC of Tanzania regarding their player Salim Kinje but they wont stand in player's way if proper and suitable deal come.
Simba have abandoned their plan sign Tanzania international footballer Nizar Khalfan who is a free player after being released by his MSL team.
Yanga elders plan to aproach their former sponser Yusufu Manji to return and save their team after the resignation of their chairman Lloyd Nchunga.
